What it is

A high-quality facilitated experience

Most giving circles are passive - you write a check and get a report. Most consulting is private - clients don't want an audience. The Strategy Circle is neither. It is a high-quality facilitated experience where the learning is the gift.

Each year, the circle works alongside two deserving nonprofits or social enterprises. Members attend every working session, watch the strategy get built in real time, and are in the room when the organization presents their transformation. Between engagements, the group gathers to connect, reflect, and think together.

The result is something genuinely rare: meaningful impact, intellectual stimulation, and a community of people who care about the same things you do.


What members experience

Four sessions per engagement

Each organization is served over four facilitated sessions, held every two weeks over six to eight weeks. Members attend every session as active participants - not passive observers.

Session 01 The real-life challenge

Hear the organization present their real situation, unfiltered. Members listen, ask questions, and begin to understand the challenge.

Sessions 02-03 Strategy in action

Watch the methodology applied live. Business model. Fundraising strategy. Narrative. Members ask questions and contribute perspectives.

Session 04 Response to opportunities

The organization presents their new business model and fundraising strategy. Members respond. This is the payoff everyone has been building toward.

Annual rhythm

11 touchpoints across the year

The annual cadence is designed to be substantive without being burdensome. Every touchpoint has a clear purpose.

Jan - Mar Engagement 1 Four working sessions with the first featured organization, held every two weeks.
April Community gathering A structured Zoom conversation. One prepared question. Real dialogue among members.
May - Jul Engagement 2 Four working sessions with the second featured organization.
Aug - Sep Community gathering Keeps the community connected and warm during the quiet stretch.
Oct - Nov Year-end strategy session Members give feedback, discuss pricing, and identify who else belongs in the circle. Co-owners, not just participants.
